Last year marks the most fruitful year for those Taiwan tyre enterprises that have investments in Chinese mainland for many years. Thanks to a rising market demand from Chinese mainland, Europe and America, the Taiwan tyre investors in the mainland saw the highest growth rate in their business performance last year.
About ten years ago, Taiwan tyre investors started their operations in the mainland. With years of efforts made, they have stepped into a stage of harvest following the rapid growing market in mainland. Last year, some mainland-based tyre factories earned a turnover higher than their Taiwan counterparts. The growth rate of annual turnover made by the mainland factories was even double of those in Taiwan. The profit of a mainland factory of the Taiwan tyre investor is a dominating part of the total profits it earns.
