Shenzhen Foxconn Inc. declared that the company would invest in the construction of a digital production base including: a digital square, a digital science & technology mansion and a digital production plant in Mianyang City.

Shenzhen Foxconn Inc plans an investment of US$25 million yuan in Mianyang to build and manage a Saibo Digital Square by making use of the Mianyang Hongbaoshi Mansion and to build a Saibo Digital Science & Technology Mansion by purchasing the Mianyang Hanlong Gymnasium. Foxconn is the registered trade name for Taiwan based Honhai Precision Industry Co., Ltd., which is the largest manufacturer of connectors for use in PCs in Taiwan, and a leading manufacturer of connectors and cable assemblies in the world.
