China will formulate a law next year aimed at protecting some Chinese dialects, costumes and traditional operas that are gradually dying out.
China's Ministry of Culture says it will set up archives for the non-material cultural relics and seek financial support from the government for the protection of such relics.
Non-material cultural relics include music, games, dances and customs.
