| First Cantonese Opera Day Launched in Hong Kong |

The first Cantonese Opera Day has been launched at the Hong Kong Cultural Center.
To celebrate the opera day, the Chinese Artists Association of Hong Kong performed two Cantonese operas while famous artists conducted a sing-along session. Other participants took part in the District Cantonese Opera Parade.
Members of the audience were also presented with a number of activities relating to the opera, including badge making, an autograph session, a stage make-up and dress-up demonstration and a Cantonese Opera exhibition. |
