Thanks to the efforts of some sympathetic residents, many birds of prey injured or left starving in the wake of the heavy snows that hit the capital city earlier this month, are being nursed back to health, reports Beijing Evening News.

The Beijing Birds of Prey Salvation Centre received several calls after the snows fell from citizens reporting injured or starving birds of prey. As many people did not know how to look after the birds, they called the centre for help and advice.
