Headed by Environment Commissioner Margot Wallstrom, an eight-person delegation from the European Union (EU) visited Shenyang yesterday in order to conduct an inspection on implementation work of the EU-China Liaoning Integrated Environmental Programme.
It is the largest environmental technical assistance programme with a total budget of 48.50 million euros (US$56 million) so far jointly established in the province in Northeast China by the EU and China.
