Analysts from the Ministry of Health are predicting that in June, the number of daily confirmed SARS cases in Beijing will not exceed 10.

　　According to epidemic statistics from April 21 to May 18, SARS cases in Beijing accounted for more than 60 percent of the country's total. The pattern of the Beijing epidemic has a significant role in the forecast for the whole country.

　　Experts predict that by early June, the accumulated number of confirmed SARS cases will reach about 3,000 and the daily newly reported cases will be fewer than 10.

　　They warn that preventive measures should not be eased, so as to prevent a rebound in the number of cases.
