The first group of recovered SARS patients have been discharged from the Xiaotangshan hospital in Beijing. 

　　Many SARS patients are convalescing with careful treatment after being sent to the Xiaotangshan Hosptial, the largest medical complex devoted solely to SARS patients on the Chinese mainland.

　　Since it's opened on May 1st, the hospital has received nine groups of SARS patients transferred from other hospitals. There are now altogether 649 patients in the hospital, most of whom are recovering gradually.
