The Taiwan Pavilion will distribute reservation tickets at the pavilion gate at 4:30pm from tomorrow, one and a half hours earlier from now.
Currently, staff hand out tickets at the pavilion gate twice a day at 9:30am and 6pm, and the time for ticket distribution in the morning will not change. A total of 3,000 tickets are distributed in the morning, and another 1,000 in the afternoon.
Many visitors waited as early as noon for the tickets distributed at 6pm and as summer heat increases, the decision was made to cut waiting time, operators of the pavilion announced.
The new version of the reservation tickets will be handed out from tomorrow, which stipulates clearly that visitors must enter the pavilion based on the time marked on the tickets and one person is limited to one ticket.
To date, the pavilion has welcomed more than 280,000 visitors, and the 300,000th visitor is expected soon. The lucky visitor will win round-trip flight tickets to Taiwan. |
