万向公益

　　“为社会创造繁荣”是万向的企业宗旨之一。“围绕为社会做贡献”是积极贯彻、实践党的“三个代表”重要思想的具体行动。万向的发展离不开社会的支持，发展起来了的万向不忘回报社会。在“素质决定命运”、“知识改变命运”的指导思想下，万向把公益事业的重点集中在支持发展贫困地区的教育上。近年来，捐建的学校有苍南五凤万向中学、淳安梓桐万向中学、淳安梓桐万向墩头小学、遂昌万向中学以及正在建造的杭州万向中学等等。随着重庆山区五所“万向春蕾小学”的落成，目前由万向捐建、命名的学校已达13所，捐资额近千万元。

万向公益事业例举：

1996年7月，捐款60万元，帮助受灾的淳安县人民重建家园；
1998年，向遭受洪灾的东北人民捐款150万元，以帮助重建家园；
19 9 8年，捐资 2 00万元，资助苍南五凤万向中学、淳安梓桐万向中学等四所中学新建教学楼；
1998年，捐资200万元，建设希望小学；
1998年，捐资1000万元，设立新闻基金；
2000年，捐资300万元，建造“万向公园”；
2001年，捐资 1000万元，建立万向慈善基金，实施开展“四个一百 工程“（一百个孤寡老人、一百个孤儿、一百个残疾人、一百个失学儿童）；
2002年，出资768万元，扩建浙江大学城市学院，捐助扶贫建校227万元；
2003年，出资5200万元，筹建万向学院。

WanXiang Commonweal Undertaking

"Creating prosperity for the society" is one of WanXIang's tenets. Contributing to society is embodied in our everyday activities in order to actively carry out the important thoughts of "three representing" of the party.WanXiang could not grow without society support, so a well-developed WanXiang should redound upon the society.With the philosophy of "diathesis decides fate" and "knowledge changes fate", WanXiang is now  focusing on developing and supporting the education undertaking of poverty stricken areas. For the last few years, WanXiang has donated obout 10 million RMB for establishing schools in some poverty regions that include CangNan WuFeng WanXiang middle school, ChunAn XinTong WanXiang middle school and etc.

Examples of WanXiang commonweal undertaking

In 1996, WanXiang donated 600,000RMB to the stricken ChunAn people to help them rebuild their homestead.
In 1 998, WanXiang donated 1 500,000RMB to the flood stricken Northeast region to help people rebuild their homestead.
In 1998, WanXiang donated 2 million RMB to establish CangNan WuFeng WanXiang middle school and chunAn XinTong WanXiang middle school.
In 1 998, donated 2 million RMB to build the Hope Elementary School.
In 1 998, donated 10 million RMB to establish the News Fund.
In 2000, donated 3 million RMB to establish HangZhou WanXiang Park.
In 2001, donated 10 million RMB to set up the Charity Fund for implementing 4-one-hundred project (financially) Supporting a hundred old persons, a hundred orphans, a hundred handicapped and a hundred school-drop children).
In 2002, invested 7,680,000 RMB to expend the City College of Zhejiang University and donated 2. 2 7 million RMB to help establish schools.
In 2003, invested 52 million RMB to establish WanXiang College.
