　　中国加入WTO，标志着中国经济完全融入世界经济已经为期不远。经济全球化的趋势使得国家之间、企业之间都被置于同一规则下进行着不同重量级间的实力较量，而处于从计划经济向市场经济、粗放型经济增长方式向集约型增长方式转变过程的中国企业正面临着前所未有的挑战和机遇。

Address by Chairman of  the Bord

China entering into WTO is a symbol that Chinese economy will entirely merge into the global economy befare long. The trend of economy globalization brings countries and enterprises into the same qreno to contest among different strength/weight-levels at the same rule. Chinese enterprises, being at a turnaround course from planned economy to market economy and from extensive growth to intensive growth, are faceing unprecedented challenges and opportunities,WanXiang Group, established in 1 969, is a company group based on township enterprises. Through mare than 30 years of hard work and innovation, WanXiang, from a blacksmith shop with 4,000 RMB investment by 7 formers, has become one of the 1 20 national pilot enterprise groups and 520 key enterprises, with qssets over 1 0 billion RMB and over 30, 000 employees. Facing the development of the new century, WanXiang will keep up focusing on auto parts business, speed up the pace of gearing with international dominant market, gearing with international advanced technologies and gearing with operation of multinationals to grow into a Chinese manufacturing base with the strongest advantages and gradually become a multinstional group operated with internationsl convention.
